The IUS Rail Division’s reputation for reliably delivering specialised HV electrical projects in the Rail Sector is growing from strength to strength. The team has the in house expertise and accreditations to deliver full turnkey power solutions from their offices in York and London.

After successful completion of their £27M contract for the Network Rail Southern Region Power Supply Upgrade project in 2006 the Rail team have been awarded contracts in the North and South England which include:

• Replacement of Non Traction Substation Equipment at various locations throughout England.
• 5 year maintenance framework for Inspection and Maintenance of Non Traction Substations for Network Rail in the North of England.
• Provision of Signal Supply Point’s (SSP) and Distribution Network Operator (DNO) connections for Westinghouse Rail Systems Limited in the North of England.
• Replacement of type MF36 33kV Switchgear at various locations in the South of England.
• Renewal of 33 kV and 11kV Switchgear at various locations in the South of England.
