A-Plant Rail is set to launch a series of new products and an all-new Rail brochure at Railtex 04.
Exhibiting on stand number 1/511, A-Plant Rail offers an extensive range of equipment available to hire for both track and infrastructure maintenance and track renewals related work. A-Plant Rail will be introducing the concept of the Gator at Railtex - a multi-purpose Road Rail Vehicle which can be used on the track, carries its own on and off tracking ramps, transports operatives and is able to travel in both forward and reverse directions at speeds of up to 18mph.
Specially modified for rail use, The Gator can tow or propel up to 5,000kg gross weight and can carry up to 200kg of equipment in the payload bay. A-Plant Rail has a series of dedicated Rail depots around the country - including Perth, Manchester, Derby, Walsall, Norwich and Romford. A-Plant Rail is Link-up registered.
