Intermodal Julie

GB Railfreight has appointed Julie Garn to a new role of Business Manager, Intermodal.
Julie, who has been with GB Railfreight since July 2003, will be responsible for securing and expanding GB Railfreight’s growing intermodal business. A main element of her work will be to focus on the management of day-to-day operations, ensuring current contracts and customers are well looked after.
Julie knows all about containers having worked for Freightliner for 13 years as an account manager. Recently she has been working on the development of GB Railfreight’s Hams Hall service.
Says Julie, “GB Railfreight is a dynamic and fast expanding company and I see my new position as a great challenge. I am looking forward to working with my colleagues and developing the intermodal market further, maintaining and building on our reputation as the most reliable rail freight haulier in Britain.” Julie will report to GB Railfreight’s Contracts and Engineering Director Mark Pickersgill.
