Lost and Found for Roevin

14 Sep 2005

Roevin, rail recruitment specialists, has appointed Paul Williams as Sales Manager.

For Paul the new job marks a continuation of a railway career that started in the lost property office at Liverpool Street 25 years ago. Since then Paul has worked in railway infrastructure engineering and materials procurement with GNER and Alstom Partslink. Most recently he worked in Business Development with Railway Performance Ltd and Vital Rail.

Working alongside Paul at Roevin is fellow new starter, Hayley Turner, an experienced rail industry recruiter. Roevin Rail Division Operations Manager Barrie Turner says the pair will support an ever-growing client base at Roevin, which supplies temporary and permanent staff to Network Rail, Metronet Rail and Tube Lines.

Says Barrie, “Hayley has a solid background in rail recruitment and Paul has a wealth of experience and industry knowledge. They’ll both be great assets to our company, supplying the highly effective recruitment service our clients have come to expect.”

Roevin’s 16-branch network provides a comprehensive recruitment service, both temporary and permanent, to the full range of engineering and technical fields across the UK. The rail division works with an extensive range of rail clients of all sizes from three main locations, Luton, Birmingham and Manchester.

First point of contact for London-based rail clients is Roevin Rail’s Account Management Team at Luton. Also working at Luton is the team supporting the London Underground Depots, with a supply of Electrical and Mechanical Fitters, Inspectors and other semi-skilled staff.
From Roevin’s Rail Resource Centre in Birmingham, teams of experienced consultants work on client requirements and manage the high number of candidate applications.

The safety-critical Special Projects Group in Manchester supplies track-qualified personnel to support clients when working on Network Rail assets. Specially-trained and equipped teams are also supplied for special projects such as platform white and yellow lining, and modular platform extensions.
