New Engineering Director for Freightliner

Freightliner has promoted Tim Shakerley to post of Engineering Director.
Previously Tim was Group Head of Engineering at Freightliner, a position he held for two years, after three years as the company’s Traction and Rolling Stock Engineer. Tim is a Chartered Engineer and career railwayman. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering Tim worked in various positions at British Rail.
Says Eddie Fitzsimons, Chief Executive of Freightliner Group, “I am delighted to announce Tim’s promotion to the position of Engineering Director - he is a talented engineer with a wealth of experience in the railway industry, and I have every confidence that he will rise to the challenges of his new position.”
