New faces at Carillion

Carillion Transport Services have appointed Mark Ray as Heavy Lift Engineering Manager and Peter Graveling as Maintenance Manager, Rail Plant division.
Mark has worked within the railway industry for 11 years undertaking the delivery of various projects. Over the last four years he has delivered major switch and crossing renewals with Kirow Rail Cranes for the former West Coast S&C Alliance.
Within Carillion Rail, Mark will be responsible for the management and all planning issues of lifting applications associated with the forthcoming Carillion 1200uk Kirow Rail Crane and the PEM/LEM switch-handling units, which are currently operational throughout the UK.
Peter is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with 29 years experience in the coal mining business, the last 14 years of which, were as a senior engineer, managing the purchase, installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Peter’s extensive experience in modern maintenance techniques, combined with his engineering and managerial professionalism, will be used to strengthen the existing rail plant team.
