Passenger Team for EWS
20 May 2005
Not a misprint but two new appointments to cope with the burgeoning passenger and charter portfolio at EWS.
Mick Bostock has been appointed National Business Manager for Rail and Passenger Services, responsible for overseeing the supply of charter services and hire of rail industry resources, such as drivers and locomotives, to train operating companies.
Mick is joined by Steve Aldridge who has been appointed Business Manager, Passenger Services, responsible for the supply of services to train operating companies and charter customers. Steve replaced Bernard Staite who retired from EWS during April, following 34 years service.
Says Nigel Smith, EWS General Manager Rail Industry Services, “The supply of resources to franchised train operating companies and charter services is a core and long term part of EWS’s service offering. The appointments of Mick and Steve will enable EWS to offer a one-stop shop for passenger train operating companies and charter train customers.”
EWS provides a range of passenger train solutions for franchised operators across Britain. Its package includes high-speed diesel and electric locomotives, coaching stock, drivers, full route timing, planning and 24/7 management and control.
