Interfleet’s US subsidiary, Interfleet Technology Inc. has further expanded its operations with the appointment of Brian Ley as Principal Consultant.
An electrical engineer and programme manager with a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, Brian Ley has extensive experience of the US passenger rail industry. He started his rail career with ABB Traction Inc as an electrical equipment engineer, working on a variety of heavy and light rail vehicles.
In 1996 he joined ABB Daimler-Benz Transportation as a senior design engineer and in 1999 he joined the AAI Corporation as a project engineer. At AAI his experience included acting as project engineer for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s emergency rail rehabilitation program, with responsibility for leading systems design, testing, supplier management and other technical matters.
