Virgin Trains Sponsors Railstaff Awards 2010

Virgin Trains is to sponsor the Depot Staff Member of the Year at this year's RailStaff Awards.
With passenger numbers continuing to grow on the heavily-used West Coast Main Line, Virgin Trains' top performing fleet of Pendolinos and Voyagers is busier than ever.
Says Virgin Trains chief executive, Tony Collins, ‘The safe provision of the fleet day by day is in large part a result of the diligence and hard work of staff and depot teams. We are now running one of the most successful rail operations in Europe - with more passengers and better performance than ever before.
‘That we can do so is the result of all our people coming together to deliver the service. We are delighted, once more, to be taking part in the RailStaff Awards 2010. This is an industry-wide exercise in recognising the unique achievement of all railway staff.'

The RailStaff Awards, now in its fourth year, will be held on 23rd October 2010 at the International Convention Centre, Birmingham.
