Clemtech is taking to the high seas and sweeping all before it.
Clemtech’s Zapcat Race team launched a powerful assault on the 2005 National Championship in Stokes Bay, Gosport, Hampshire, recently when it won first place in all four qualifying heats. The team went on to come first in the final.
Clemtech Racing is crewed by local Denmead based pilot, 23 year old Andrew Clements. His co-pilot is 18 year old sister, Sarah. Zapcat Racing requires top grade sea skills, marine navigation knowledge, physical fitness and plenty of agility and ingenuity.
The boat is a light, twin-hulled, inflatable catamaran, powered by a 50 horse power engine. The race season encompasses meets in Scotland, Ireland, Wales, London and Cornwall and can be followed on the satellite “Extreme Sports” Channel or see www.clemtech. co.uk
