As Master Supply Partner, PSR Solutions are proud to be working in partnership with the UK arm of this leading international and multidisciplinary infrastructure construction company, specialising in the development and delivery of key infrastructure projects across the globe such as railway construction and systems, roads, tunnelling and fibre optic networks.

Having worked on a number of the UK's most prestigious Major Projects and Alliance Partnerships (inc' HS1, HS2, Crossrail and Optical Fibre Deployment), they are seeing continual growth and opportunity in a pipeline of existing and tendered projects and Alliances.

They currently have an immediate requirement within their Head Office team for an Accounting Assistant to support the delivery of major infrastructure works in the UK.

Reporting to the Chief Accountant, the role of the Accounting Assistant involves providing accounting and administrative support to the Finance Department, clients and stakeholders of the business. The Accounting assistant will be responsible for all accounting and related administrative matters, and will report to, and work closely with, the Chief Accountant and wider Finance team.

You will be responsible for maintaining and updating of the book keeping, producing VAT reports, initiating payments, assisting the office for admin support and document control, administration of staff expenses.

As the ideal candidate, your experience will include;

• 2+ years' experience working with in the construction industry
• Hold AAT qualifications, or relevant experience and qualifications
• Key attributes will include; rigorous & thorough, organised, team player, excellent time management
• You will have advanced computer skills on MS Office
• Knowledge of CEGID/Sage accounting software is desirable
