You will need:
• The successful applicant requires to have had experience working under pressure to deadlines which are not flexible and a busy environment with multiple distractions (email, Phone ) Competence in using IT systems and standard office packages in Word/Excel.
• Ability to learn new tasks relatively quickly and apply these new skills without difficulty.
• Experience of working in an administrative environment
• Sound knowledge of all rostering arrangements
• Conditions of service applicable to rostering
• Good communicator
• Good MS Office skills
• Able to prioritise workloads
The role:
• Produce cost effective and efficient rosters for nominated personnel compliant with the relevant operational standards
• This role will be designated as a relief function which will cover the Resource Team for any absences e.g. Annual Leave, Sickness etc.
• Prepare rosters for personnel undertaking weekly/daily rostered duties to cover sickness, leave and special arrangements.
• Compile and control leave records.
• Provide information to support the delivery of the Area and Route reporting requirements.
• Assist in administering and monitoring delivery of the Area contracts.
• Make roster arrangements for medical examinations, and interviews.
• Maintain post incident and unannounced drug and alcohol records.
