Samuel Knight are currently recruiting for a Change Analyst to join the prestigious UK mega-project; High Speed 2.

We are seeking a candidate to join our principal delivery client. The successful candidate will be paid on a PAYE basis at a rate of between £230 & £250, per day.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Change Manager and other colleagues in the change team to implement HS2’s change management process. This will include coordinating change meetings & administering the change management system. It’s also vital that all change decisions are fully recoded and approved before successful implementation.

The successful candidate can expect to perform the following duties on a daily basis:

• Administer change control activities.
• Conduct quality assurance checks of change submissions – ensuring proposed changes are fully assessed with clear visibility of implications.
• Provide guidance and corrective actions to teams, to improve quality of change control.
• Manage the change process and system, and ensure all audit trails are accurate and correctly maintained.
• Ensure all approved changes changes are correctly incorporated into scope, cost and schedule.

Our client will be looking for the following attributes in a successful candidate:

• An understanding of baseline and change control principles in the next context of a major programme.
• Experience of facilitating and administering multidiscipline meetings with large groups of stakeholders
• Diligently able to maintain a corporate system
• Evidently able to deliver against tight deadlines, in an ambiguous political environment.
