About the vacancy:
Coombes requires a GIS Analyst to support our busy team, supply chain and our clients on a full time, permanent basis, to grow with the Company. The successful applicant will be responsible for mapping on our HS2, Network Rail and Forestry sites, creating high-quality cartographic maps. They will also be accountable for data development and visualisation.
This role involves the collection, management and analysis of spatial data, as well as undertaking BIM data conversions. You will analyse spatial data using ESRI mapping software and geoprocessing tools, as well as creating data to support business processes and applications. It’s key therefore that candidates have a good understanding of GIS and its practical application.
As well as sharing the ethos and values of our Company, previous experience in a similar role is essential, with proven knowledge and abilities in ERSI ArcGIS Pro, ERSI ArcGIS Online/Portal for ArcGIS and ERSI Mobile application. A Degree, or similar, in a GIS or earth sciences subject is desirable.
You will be required to travel to various sites across the south-central area of England, and in particular our site office near Aylesbury and our head office in Petersfield, Hampshire. The successful candidate must therefore have a full driving licence.

Working hours: 40 hours per week, to be worked Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with 1hr unpaid break each day.
