IT support - Lincoln - 6 months contract initially
We require an IT End User Specialist to assist with the processing, management and support of various IT Services to support our 2400 end users. This will require someone who is highly proficient in not only in the build and support of end user hardware, but also able to administrate and manage end user requests for IT services such as folder access, software installation and similar services.
What are my responsibilities?
* Provision of end user support for IT services covering various hardware and software
* Submission and management of end user requests for IT services such as Folder access, local admin access, etc.
* Support, management and resolution of I.T. faults according to defined SLAs
* Collaboration with colleagues within the Siemens Global IT organisation as well as third party suppliers
* Delivery of Information Technology components to support local and global projects, as well as business as usual activities
* Installation and maintenance of hardware and software in accordance with Siemens standards
* To input into team discussion and to regularly bring new initiatives on board
What do you need to qualify for the job?
* Experience of ticket processing and administration of requests for I.T. services
* Experience of providing End User support for I.T. hardware and software
* Very good I.T. technical knowledge
* Understanding of IT standards
* Clean driving license held for more than 1 year
* Experience of working in a large Global IT organisation
* Good planning and execution skills
* Self-motivating and driven to delivering solutions in a timely manner
* Understanding of Windows as part of the applications environment.
