TXM Recruit have an exciting contract opportunity for a Information Security Analyst on a 6 month contract basis.
Role Overview:
The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for design, support, management and evaluation of the security systems that protect the company systems and data, working closely with the IT infrastructure team on system setup and configuration.

Role Overview:
The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for design, support, management and evaluation of the security systems that protect the company systems and data, working closely with the IT infrastructure team on system setup and configuration.
Role Responsibilities:
- Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents performing analysis to document risks and create incident reports.
- Recommend changes in line with legal, technical and regulatory information security guidelines and requirements
- Work closely with the Infosec manager to implement the Information Security Strategy and supporting programme plan
- Work closely with the Infrastructure team on system design, implementation and then perform regular tests to uncover network vulnerabilities, ensuring at all times systems confirm with EMRs security compliance policies and standards
- Create and drive forward security communication and education plans to promote EMRs cyber security strategy and principles across the business.
- Technology focused role, assess risk and new technologies coming into the business
Role Requirements:
- Experience in information security or related field, with previous experience working in transport / rail desirable
- Awareness of the Security of Network & Information Systems Directive (NIS-D).
- Understanding of proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts
- An aptitude for project management and understands the necessity to read MS Project plans and Visio documents
