An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Commercial department to join the Revenue team as a Pricing Manager.

In this position you will play a leading role in developing fares and pricing strategy to optimise passenger revenue, whilst retaining a positive customer experience. You will be responsible for the pricing of regulated and unregulated fares, ensuring that all changes are compliant and are communicated to staff promptly.
You will be integral to developing new products and promotions to respond to changing market trends. Strong research skills are therefore highly desirable.

In order to help you deliver these objectives, you will manage one member of staff and be responsible for their development within their role.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
*A desire to understand and solve complex system problems.
*Excellent organisational skills, with previous experience of working to externally imposed deadlines. Project Management skills would also be an advantage.
*An ability to work with large volumes of data and summarise conclusions in an easy to understand format.
*Commercial awareness and a desire to understand the key drivers of business success.
*Strong research skills and ability to track market trends.
*Excellent attention to detail.
*The ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
*A formal qualification of level 3 or above within business, IT, marketing, administration or a data led field would be ideal.
Experience:
*Previous industry experience in a data / business analyst or strategist type role
*Previous experience working in a transport pricing environment would be an advantage but is not essential.
