Job Title - Programme Reporting Specialist
Location - London, Enterprise House
Rates - £385 - £495 per day
In Scope of IR35 - (i.e. subject to tax & national insurance contributions taken at source by Capita as the primary agency)
About the role / project:
This project will see the European Train Control System (ETCS) trackside equipment installed on the Great Western Main Line from Paddington to Heathrow. This project will provide a form of Automatic Train protection, in line with Network Rail's commitments to Crossrail Ltd and the Office of Rail and Road. Specifically, this will be done through the implementation of ETCS as an overlay to the conventional signalling system at Level 2 with lineside signals retained, until rolling stock is also ETCS fitted.
The first passenger use of ETCS is expected to be for the new Crossrail Class 345 EMUs, which will operate from Paddington to Heathrow.
What you will do:
Network Rail is looking for an experienced reporting specialist to support the roll out of the ETCS system on the Great Western Main Line.
Reporting in to the Programme Controls Manager your primary focus will be:
Maintain established Project Performance Reporting (PPR) system and Periodic Reporting Pack for Principal Programme Controls Manager.
Provide PPR reporting via Oracle Projects.
Support the development and implementation of Change Management requests in Oracle Projects and the Change Control Database.
Maintain baseline integrity of P3e programmes in the business plan and track change and performance across assets.
Provide advisory service to project team on Oracle Projects.
Point of contact for advice to project team on information management system (eB).
Your experience will include:
Essential
Degree or HND equivalent in construction or engineering related subject.
Relevant successful experience in the management, planning and delivery of major construction and engineering projects.
A knowledge of programme and project controls processes and systems.
Desirable
Prior experience or understanding of the European Train Control System (ETCS), and/or the overarching European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS).
Experience of Project Controls within Network Rail.
Experience of developing constructive relationships and managing sensitive issues.
Membership of a relevant professional body.
Six Sigma White Belt.
