We are looking for a Strategy Analyst for a 6-month contract role with Great British Railways Transition Team, based in London. The role is part of Passenger Revenue & Marketing (PR&M), which is a function within the newly formed GBRTT. PR&M has been commissioned to create a national revenue strategy and industry delivery plan to maximise revenue growth. PR&M will engage with multiple stakeholders from the Department for Transport (DfT) and Train Operating Companies (TOCs) to support recovery in passenger revenue from the impact of COVID-19, and drive future revenue streams, in a whole-industry collaborative way that maximises the impact of national and individual TOC customer proposition and marketing activities.

As a Strategy Analyst, you will:

• Be responsible for providing relevant insights to support the formulation of the Industry Passenger Revenue Plan, ensuring that the Plan drives the right decisions, address key challenges, and identify new ways to grow revenue.
• Use critical thinking skills to communicate a cohesive and engaging story.
• Work in tandem / closely with DfT and the Train Operating Companies to provide support in commercial areas as well as considering cost efficiencies & impact on revenue growth

• Have significant experience in similar roles, ideally in rail, or the wider transport industry.
