As part of the Construction discipline you will be a key element in ultimately delivering complex solutions in a demanding and dynamic engineering environment. The E&P team forms an essential part of this Construction function, along with telecommunications, giving a full turn key solution to the customer. Construction functions complement in house design and project functions to develop the highest quality and efficient engineering solutions and are expected within the industry. To be successful as part of this team you will need an excellent underlying engineering base onto which you will be expected to add bespoke industry expertise and further technical knowledge.
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Linbrooke Services for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join the E&P team as an apprentice Electrician.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support Electricians to ensure individual tasks are completed to the required timescales.
- Have a good understanding of the principle of Electrical circuits.
- Ensure that site rules are followed.
- Attend project specific inductions as required.
- Incident, close call, near miss reporting
- Look after any tools and equipment that have been issued.
- Must be punctual with good time keeping.
- Be willing to travel for work.
- Must be willing to work weekends if the project requires.
- Participate in training and personal development activities as required
- Comply at all times to the requirements of Linbrooke Services HSQE policies and in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act
- Work, safely, as directed by your line manager.
Essential
- Be willing to attend college for 3 / 4 year period to achieve Level 3 NVQ in Electrical installation.
- Have a clean driver’s license.
- GCSE A to C in English, Maths and science.
Desirable
- Higher education (A levels / degree)
- First Aid at Work
