Job Title: Business Development Co-ordinator

Location: Humber Quays, Hull but flexible to include site visits and possible home working where required
Hours: 40 hours per week
The business development coordinator is responsible for supporting the sector lead and business development director to develop and secure new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development, implementation and updating of Key Account Plans for winning business from target clients using appropriate databases, media, industry information
- Support Business Development Director with targeted market analysis on key geographies, industries, sectors, opportunities and competitors’ information
- Manage and promote internal CRM system including quality audits, reporting, pipeline management and system improvements
- Maintain BD internal actions tracker and chase action owners
- Assist in event coordination and awards submissions’
- Conduct analysis on tender performance and lead conversion
- Coordinate lead tracking and prioritisation
- Support sector lead in the development and execution of business development and marketing plans
- Research potential clients and project opportunities
- Preparation of reports, presentations and graphics to aid board decision making
- Provide support to the team in preparing PQQ and Tender submissions

- Efficient administrator with exceptional presentation and listening skills
- Confident use of calculations for analysis
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong inter-personal skills
- Ability to work at pace as part of a wider team
Qualifications & Experience
- Educated to Degree level (2:1 minimum) or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year in a business development role
- Experience of working in an Engineering or Construction background would be advantageous but not essential
- Excellent IT skills and highly proficient with MS Office
