Role Overview:
The business currently provides products, components and specialist designs to the Rail & Transportation maintenance industry.
You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities as well as managing existing customer relationships and accounts.

Role Overview:
The business currently provides products, components and specialist designs to the Rail & Transportation maintenance industry.
You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities as well as managing existing customer relationships and accounts.
Role Responsibilities:
- Identify industry trends, gaps in service and create strategies to leverage new business opportunities
- Explore new business opportunities and cultivating new leads
- Lead account management, developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers and stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of customer needs
- Manage all aspects of customer journeys, growing overall satisfaction, driving retention and repeat business
- Promote brand, product and service portfolio and identify and follow up on potential areas of collaboration and sales opportunities
- Develop commercial governance processes and procedures
- Track open quotations and negotiate to win profitable sales
- Accountable for responses to expressions of interest and pre-qualification questionnaires
- Lead bid and tendering activity on behalf of the business
Role Requirements:
- Proven knowledge and experience within the UK rail industry
- Strong and demonstratable negotiation and influencing skills
- Experience in engaging customers and stakeholders, with the ability to build mutually beneficial relationships
- Experienced in project management
- Electrical / Mechanical systems knowledge is essential
- Strong commercial awareness
- Knowledge or experience in bidding and tendering
