Samuel Knight are currently looking for an experinced Sales / Business Development Engineer working for a supplier into a fast growing team in the Rail industry, based in Milton Keynes.

The ideal candidate must have experience in E-Mobility & preferably Rolling Stock, well versed in the effective day to day running and operation of a Sales Function.

Job Requirements:

• Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products/services of the business.
• Responsible for the day to day running and operations of the sales function.
• Agreeing company sales strategy with the senior management team and Managing Director, arranging and attending sales meetings with customers.
• Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery
• Identifying opportunities for new work with new and existing customers and researching the markets for both E-Mobility and traction and rolling stock agreements.

Sales Engineer Experience:

• A solid technical background within E-Mobility, electric vehicles and other related products/services.
• Experience working with Traction and Rolling Stock.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A solid technical background.
• Sound judgement and good business sense.
• Team working ability.
• The ability to build relationships with clients quickly.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Resilience and tenacity.
• Independence.
