Business Development/Stakeholder Manager - Rail
6+ Month Contract – to start immediately
£475/day Ltd - £550/day Umbrella in scope of IR35
Based in London
Our client is a well established Nationwide Rail company whose professionalism and well respected name have been instrumental in their success. They provide an exceptional service to their customers and are focused on continually improving this.
Our client is looking for a strong client facing professional with strong stakeholder management skills and a sales/business development background and knowledge and experience of the rail industry.
You will need:
Essential
- Business development skills and knowledge and experience in the railway.
- Relevant successful experience with project management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Team leader capable of motivating the team
- Commercial and financial understanding and knowledge
Desirable
- Membership of the Association for Project Management or other professional body
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt
- A degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of investment processes and procedures
- Knowledge and understanding of project and contract management
The Role:
- Our client is looking for someone to come in and act as a Business Development Manager for the team. Ideally looking for someone with a sales background and someone who understands the railway.
- Currently the team is in need of someone with outstanding stakeholder engagement skills to be responsible for managing the stakeholders on current projects but also looking for potential opportunities for the business to build Innovation projects, on and off track.
- This team is responsible for all the tech that will be released in the next 3-5 years across the railway. Must have excellent English skills.
