What is the purpose of this role?
To seeks out and develop new business opportunities to secure pipeline for a defined business area.

What will this role involve?
Strategy
- Identifies new markets and customers to target
- Works with the New Business Development Director to develop and refine strategy for new business growth in line with financial targets
Finance / Operations
- Works with Account Directors, Managers and Account Managers to review existing accounts, to cross sell further enhanced services and frameworks
- Understands and analyses competitor information to provide a foundation to offer advice to the New Business Development Director
- Works cross functionally to help others to see how the wider business operates
- Develops and delivers efficient and effective processes to facilitate new business development
Customer / Market
- Develop and manage key client relationships, acting as the face of Amey
- Attends and provides updates to New Business Development Director and Business Director meetings to share information and knowledge on market sectors
- Support, develop and drive a culture of customer centricity
People / Organisation:
- Liaise with cross-divisional counter-parts, where appropriate
- Contributes to various stages of the bidding process, where appropriate
- Support and reflect the Amey culture across the Division
