Role: AutoCAD Civil 3D Technician
Location: Manchester
Salary: Negotiable DoE

I am looking to place an AutoCAD Civil 3D Technician in an international engineering consultancys Manchester office. The firm has numerous ongoing contracts with public and private clients and currently employs over 70,000 people worldwide across all engineering disciplines covering Infrastructure/Highways, Structures, Energy, Building Services, and more.

The firm require a Civil Technician who is a competent Civil 3D user to work on a range of Infrastructure development projects. Ideally, you will have minimum 5 years in industry with experience of cut and fill projects alongside a range of other Civil design work. Experience of other Civil design software or projects would be beneficial, but the ability to use Civil 3D on cut and fill projects is the core requirement of this position.

The office is completing a wide range of projects across the Build Environment, covering multiple blocks of modular student accommodation (and the associated infrastructure), a new large-scale bus depot development, public-sector/government office refurbishments around Manchester and the wider area, a 20-storey residential tower, Premier League football stadium assessments/upgrades, and more.

You will have the opportunity to manage and lead your own small team of juniors, carrying out design checks and mentoring them. You may have an industry relevant membership such as the EngTech or be working towards it. Job Requirements:

• Relevant experience as a Civil Technician (5 years+)
• Relevant experience using Civil 3D (essential)
• Professional Membership (EngTech)
• Relevant experience on cut and fill projects
• Relevant education in Civil Engineering (HNC/HND/Degree)
