Until further notice all staff are working from home so there will be no current requirement for office working for the foreseeable but must be able to travel to the office when required.
All systems are online and a company laptop will be provided.
Salary / Benefits:
£25,000 - £30,000 plus 24 days holidays plus BH's and Pension.

A professional engineering consultancy services with over 25 years experience across multiple industries including highways, local authority buildings and rail is seeking an experienced CAD technician to support the delivery of safe and compliant civil & structural engineering designs through the production of Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) drawings, models and associated data/outputs in there fast growing business.
To be suitable for the position you must have;
- Minimum 5-years design experience within consultancy practice
- HND or equivalent in AutoCAD or related course
- Past demonstratable experience in drainage
- Experience of applying design software (Civils3d, AutoCAD, Revit, Microdrainage etc)
- Working knowledge of design standards and procedures
- Valid UK driving license
- Able to communicate clearly and work proactively as part of a team
Desirable experience
- Experience of working within the construction sector
- Past demonstratable experience in drainage, earthworks, steelwork or structural designs; or a combination thereof
- Able to work independently on various projects simultaneously
- Able to manage own time, self-motivated and disciplined
- Able to work proactively in a fast-paced engineering consultancy
- Experience of BIM L1/2 application
Role Information
- Create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by Architects, Engineers and designers and make modifications to existing drawings.
- Use a variety of CAD software programmes to create designs in 2D and 3D modelsLiaise with Architects, Engineers and designers to understand their design requirements.
- Provide accurate, detailed and to scale drawings.
- Ensure drawings are compliant with industry and health and safety standards and protocols.
- Conduct site visits and surveys when required (Very rarely required to do so).
- Present working drawings for use in all stages of the project, tender, manufacture/construction and installation.
