I am currently searching for a Civil Infrastructure Technician to work on a range of exciting projects in the Basingstoke region. You will be joining a leading multidisciplinary consultancy who work with on development infrastructure, highways structures, and rail schemes.

In the role, you will be supporting the Lead Technician and Engineer to produce vital drawings and designs for their ongoing projects. You will have the opportunity to work on projects including buildings, temporary works, embankments, earthworks, highways, rail and bridges.

Being a medium sized consultancy, each day will be dynamic and different from the previous. You will be assisting in the technical approval and preparation of construction details, and undertake design drawings in a 3D and 2D format, dependant on client specifications.

Job Description:

-          Have a Civil Engineering degree or relevant qualification
-          Have aspirations for career development
-          Have experience with Civils3D, AutoCAD or MicroDrainage
-          Having experience with Structures software would be beneficial but no necessary (revit)
-          Have experience undertaking highways and drainage design
-          Be confident with liaising with clients
-          Undertake site visits and oversee construction procedures
