Comms Technicians in London, London, Greater London, England, United Kingdom
Seeking Comms Technicians for a long term contract on a major railway infrastructure project covering central London sites. You will work closely assisting Test & Commissioning Engineers covering telecommunications networks (CISCO) and SCADA systems within a railway environment. You should have an understanding of cabling, basic testing and terminating of equipment into racking.
Whilst you won't require railway certification at this stage, you must hold CSCS, preferably SSSTS, First Aid, IPAF or PASMA. Experience of working in a railway comms environment would also be highly desirable. You will be working in a railway environment and therefore will be subject to Drug and alcohol testing at inductions and randomly on site thereafter.
Rate up to £200 per day dependant on experience and skills. You must be able to work on days to be considered, likely to be weekends and night work as the project progresses. All shifts will be full shifts no engineering hours. Long term Contract expected duration until August 2018 potential to extend further.
