Our Client, One of the Main JV's delivering HS2 associated works has an exciting opportunity for a GIS Technician on a long term freelance basis paying a very competitive day rate for 8 hour days.

Description of Activities to be undertaken

To support our clients Information Technology and Digital Integration team in delivering its service to our clients package

Undertake data management, update and conversion tasks within the ArcGIS infrastructure.

Ensure that GIS deliverables by our client and its subcontractors and prepared and submitted in accordance with strict HS2 Technical Standards

Working closely with the different GIS end users, engineers and project teams to identify problems and provide input.

Looking for innovative ways to deploy GIS and improve efficient working wherever could be beneficial.

Identifying and implementing the most appropriate and efficient geospatial workflows, processes and assurance.

Minimum Qualifications Needed for Role

2+ years’ experience with Esri ArcGIS software

Understanding and experience of ecology & heritage data, infrastructure & assets, field data collection, & supporting web based applications.
