Job Summary
The Geophysics team in Aecom’s Nottingham office are looking for technician staff to support continued growth.
The role requires a candidate who has good attention to detail and a keenness to learn as well as flexibility to support both office and site based works.
The role is both site and office based, and comes with the expectation of working across the UK and potentially abroad in a wide range of environments using a range of specialist survey equipment.
Duties include
- Assisting the geophysics or other AM (Asset Management) survey teams in their daily workloads
- CAD work to assist in production of drawings
- Assistng in preparation of H&S documentation
- Data management and processing of survey information
- Flexibility to work away on site including weekend and night works to support fieldwork.
- Other duties as directed by your managers.
Minimum Requirements
The candidate should have:
- Attention to detail, be methodical and organised
- Use of excel
- Able to read and understand plans
- Keenness to learn on the job.
- Enjoy problem solving
- Good written and verbal communications skills.
- A levels, though not essential.
- CAD (AutoCAD or Microstation) skills advantageous.
- Engineering/Site/surveying experience helpful
- Full Driving Licence
