Job title: Junior CAD Engineer (Electrical)

Role:

An opportunity has come available for a Junior CAD Engineer to join a specialist electrical contractor producing a range of design packages within the railway environment.

This would be a great opportunity for a candidate who is looking to continue their development into electrical design, whilst being given mentorship and guidance by the Design Manager.

The successful candidate will have strong experience across AutoCAD and will have a good understanding and knowledge of electrical systems within rail projects.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Produce design for:
  • Lighting (buildings, walkways, railway sidings and stations)
  • LV power distribution (rail environment)
  • EV installations
  • Building Services (M&E) within the railway environment and built environment.

Essential Requirements:

• Proficient across AutoCAD
• Experience across Amtech & Trimble (ideally)
• Rail electrical experience
