We are currently working with one of the worlds leading engineering and consulting groups, who, after significant growth are looking to expand their MEP CAD Modelling Team in York.

This role can also be based out of their Birmingham, Reading or Manchester offices and benefits from the flexibility of a hybrid working approach.

The suitable candidate will be experienced on either a Senior or Technician level in CAD Modelling and be ready to assist with the design of Mechanical, Electrical and Building Services engineering projects on key infrastructure projects across the UK & Ireland.

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers to develop BIM and CAD solutions for the M&E services of projects.
• Achieve the targets agreed with the Principal Engineer/Project Co-ordinator regarding the delivery of projects to standards within agreed timescales and budgets.
• Help develop BIM and CAD skills within the MEP engineering department to meet business objectives.
• Take the role of AutoCAD/MicroStation Expert User for the MEP team.
• Maintaining and developing relationships with internal clients.
• Discuss technical issues with colleagues.

 
Experienced Required:

• Knowledge of MicroStation 2D & 3D & BIM procedures preferably within a Railway Environment.
• Knowledge of safety standards.
• Bentley Connect for Advanced users preferred but not essential.
• Experience of working on E&P projects for lineside or building services projects.
• Experience of AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Experience of working in Network Rail IP ProjectWise & BIM Standards.
