Job Title: Exam Technician (Mechanical Bias) – Rolling Stock

Location: Eastleigh

Duration: 8 months

Interviews/Start date: Immediate start

“Wanted! We have a requirement for an experienced Mechanical Exam Technician (minor electrical work as well) to work on a fleet of trains on the South Coast of England”

Our client is a leading train operator that specialise in refurbishment, modification, installation, servicing and maintenance of varying fleets of trains. They are part of a global group and have opportunities all over the world.

The Candidate:

You will have worked as an Exam Technician within Rolling Stock. As a preference, you will have worked extensively on Diesel Fleets, overhauls and underframes and have a good understanding of electrical elements situated on these trains. You MUST HAVE a minimum NVQ level 3 or time served apprenticeship and be able to provide at least one suitable reference at senior level who can confirm your working ability.

The Role:

4 on 4 off – (2 days/2 nights)

Requirements:

• · Experience on Rolling Stock
• · Minimum of NVQ Level 3
• · Will be required to pass D&A / medicals
• Immediate availability

Salary: £20 per hour
