We are currently dealing with an ever-growing engineering consultancy with a number of offices nationally who are looking at expanding the Bristol team by recruiting either a Senior or MicroStation technician. As the Senior CAD (MicroStation) Technician, youll join the close-knit team within a welcoming and relaxed office, working with other Technicians and Engineers across a wide variety of schemes within the rail civils, structures and bridges. Typical job duties include, but not limited to:

• Drawing and detailing of civil and structural schemes with MicroStation 3D and AutoCAD  
• Liaising with the team to ensure drawings are representative of the Engineers designs Drawing reviews and checking of schemes prepared by others in the team
• Mentoring Junior Technicians

 

Job requirements

• Proven experience as a CAD Technician working with 3D MicroStation / Aecosim
• Working within Projectwise, with knowledge of Network Rail or HS2 document control process
• Working knowledge of UK industry standards and processes
• Background working on Civil, Structures, or Bridge schemes in rail
