We are currently dealing with an established and award winning firm of Civil, Structural and Geotechnical Consulting Engineers in Merseyside, Specifically Liverpool, who are looking to recruit a MicroStation Technician working on a range of projects. As a MicroStation Specialist and CAD Technician youll undertake the efficient and effective delivery of Civils and Structures projects, working with Engineers to ensure the needs of the Client and the business are met.

Within the position you will undertake the preparation of drawings and models in accordance with the companys BIM manual working with both MicroStation 2D and 3D. You will work on a range of Rail Civil, Structures and Bridges, schemes which can include high profile and technically challenging schemes. As the MicroStation Technician you will undertake the preparation of documentation including but not limited to drawings, models, estimates, schedules, quantities all as directed by a Project Engineer to a standard of presentation which can be submitted to clients or other approval authority.   

Experience Required       

• 5 years experience working as a CAD Technician ideally with MicroStation.
• Experience working with ProjectWise ideally.
• Experience within the rail/building services sectors covering a broad range of design challenges at different stages of design development.
• Experience of civil engineering design principles and standards.
• Experienced in 3D modelling

As previously stated, this role is based in Liverpool and can operate on a remote hybrid basis, so could be suitable for candidates in Manchester, Bolton, Crewe or Chester.
