NDT Technician Overview
We are supporting our client, who are a world-renowned manufacturer, in their search for an experienced contract NDT Technician. You will be responsible for inspecting composite and metallic components using non-destructive techniques (NDT) and verifying the quality of components and assemblies.
NDT Technician Key Responsibilities
NDT Technician certified to LEVEL 2 AEROSPACE Standard, this can be PCN, ASNT, EN4179 in:
Should be familiar with Phased Array UT (PAUT) in composites (CFRPC)
Must be able to communicate effectively with production, design and managerial staff.
Good PC Skills and the ability to write clear and concise reports is necessary. NDT Technician Key Responsibilities
- Performing in-process and final quality checks ensuring products comply with relevant specifications.
- Recording and evaluating test results and subsequently generating NDT inspection reports.
- Highlighting any non-conformances and actively contributing to the overall quality of the products and processes.
- Maintaining test equipment and ensuring it remains in calibration.
NDT Technician certified to LEVEL 2 AEROSPACE Standard, this can be PCN, ASNT, EN4179 in:
- CT Radiography is essential
- Ultrasonic Inspection
- Eddy Current Inspection
- Dye Penetrant Inspection
- Magnetic Particle Inspection
Should be familiar with Phased Array UT (PAUT) in composites (CFRPC)
Must be able to communicate effectively with production, design and managerial staff.
