AECOM is the world's premier infrastructure consultancy and or rail business is looking for organised, motivated and resourceful individuals who have a flexible can-do attitude to assist in providing support to the Ground Investigation team and wider AECOM business.

As an Operations Technician, you will be trained in our established working practices and the primary expectations for this role are as follows:

• Support the Operations team in production of site safety paperwork and sitework planning.
• Provide assistance in resource planning of planned works carried out by the Ground Investigation team.
• Liaison with internal clients and project leads to assist in the safe planning of works
• Organising subcontractor hires and staff that are required as part of the delivery of projects

Whilst this role is predominantly office based, there will be on occasion, requirements to attend worksites in order to assist with the safe delivery of works. These works can include day and night shifts during both midweek and weekend periods (outside of working regular working hours incurs overtime).

Minimum Requirements

• Full UK Driving licence.
• Possess good communication skills, a desire to learn, take responsibility for quality of deliverables and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Keen interest in working outdoors and fieldwork in general.
• Computer literate and have experience in using MS Office.
• Willingness to work during unsociable hours
• Able to work remotely away from the office

• Prior experience of Site Investigations
• Experience in working in a Railway and/or Highway environment
