This company has recently invested in a full fleet of modern trains with increased seats to provide more pleasant and comfortable journeys for commuters to ensure significantly improved customer experience.
THE ROLE
As a Rolling Stock Technician, you will be working on a variety of fleets performing maintenance, testing and fault finding to rolling stock which has been raised as having defects or faults of the safety critical systems. You will be a Rolling Stock Technician skilled in electrical and mechanical engineering with experience working on key rolling stock components and systems including HVAC, Driver Advisory Systems, Train Protection & Warning System, Driver-Only Operated systems and Train Control & Management System.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You are an experienced Rolling Stock Technician with extensive work history in fault finding and rectification of fleet defects. To be considered for this role, you will have completed projects with a focus on identifying and rectifying faults, removing and repairing Safety Critical components including various hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical systems. You will have experience working on brakes, traction, signals, doors and on-board computer systems.
THE REQUIREMENTS
A proven background in safety critical rolling stock fault finding and servicing with a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or other engineering discipline. The ideal Rolling Stock Technician will also be able to commit to a varying shift pattern.

Days and Nights (4 on/ 4 off)
