We are working closely with a client of ours who are seeking a Senior CAD Technician to assist with the delivery of a number of projects from concept development to detailed design.

The role will be offered as a permanent opening on a full-time basis. The annual salary will range from £30,000 - £50,000.

Responsibilities include:

• Producing both civil and structural deliverables for a number of multidisciplinary projects from railway infrastructure to the energy sector.
• Liaising internally with staff, other design disciplines as well as sub-consultants to both client and business requirements.
• Managing and checking solutions produced by junior or graduate staff.
• Undertaking independent checking carried out by other sections or offices as and when required.

The candidate will have to have the following experiences and skillset:

• A solid understanding and proven experience of CAD and BIM modelling principles.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior role within either a consultancy or a contractor.
• Fluent in the use of AutoCAD and Revit. (MicroStation and AECOsim is desirable but not essential).
• Strong knowledge of current Eurocodes/standards.
• Detailed knowledge of construction principles.
