My client, an award winning multi-disciplinary solutions business is looking for a Senior CAD Technician who specalises in Bridges to join their transportation department. The Role

As Senior Cad Technician you will be joining the Bridge Engineers team with my client based in their Yorkshire office. Your role will be bridge related for Network rail during the CP6 framework period and dealing with principle contractors.

Taking the lead responsibility for production of all bridge drawings and models as Senior CAD Technician this will include production of detailed steelwork repair, strengthening or replacement drawings, and reinforced concrete detailing.

As Senior CAD Technician you will also be responsible for the development and mentoring of junior CAD staff and will be the leading technician who understands the engineering process and can bridge the gap between process and delivery.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with Network Rail CAD standards
• Must have experience on both new build, bridge replacements, repairs and strengthen
• Experience with reinforced concrete detailing desired
• Experience using Microstations systems
• A high level of ability in a CAD system relevant to the team’s work and able to give comprehensive guidance to others.
• A high level of ability in applying procedures and standards that apply to CAD and able to give comprehensive guidance to others.

Remuneration

£30,000 - £40,000 per annum

37.5 hours week

25 Day Holiday plus Bank Holidays
