Structural & Architectural Steelwork Detailers / CAD in United Kingdom
Structural & Architectural Steelwork Detailers needed to work with a large specialist civil engineering contractor in Northampton.
I'm looking for Tekla experienced Structural & Architectural Steelwork Detailers to join my client on a freelance basis working in Northampton. The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and experience using Tekla to create 3D models of steel structures.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Produce all drawings, layouts and elevations to a high standard
- 3D modelling and detailing of buildings, structures & associated items using Tekla 3D detailing software
- Support and assist all CAD delivery across design team
- Creation of fabrication drawings including editing to enable accurate manufacture.
- Prepare lists for manufacture & purchase
- Complete all as built drawings
- Liaise with architects, engineers, clients and the design team.
- Manage RFI's, variations & site queries
- To produce fully compliant suitable drawings to meet the clients' requirements
- To ensure that all project designs are compliant with CDM regulations
Candidate requirements:
- Experience working on major civil engineering projects
- Experience working with Tekla
- Knowledge and experience undertaking 3D modelling
- Previous experience delivering steel structures
