Our client is looking for a Test and Service Technician, you will be an important integral part in assisting with a scheduled production workload along with a service function to specific turnaround times to return the repairs to the customer.

Contract Length: 3 Months

Rate: Negotiable

Location: Radlett. Hertfordshire

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Test and repair of electronic equipment
• Fault find and repair PCB’S (Printed Circuit Boards ) to component level
• Work to departmental procedures including work instructions and test technical notes
• Accurately record test results information
• Re-Working/Repair to recognized quality standards
• Operate PC driven bespoke functional test equipment
• To comply with, undertake and promote all relevant Environment, Health & Safety measures, responsibilities and activities.

You will be:

• Qualified to ONC/HNC/CITY & GUILDS or equivalent in electronic engineering
• Good fault-finding skills, to component level, for both analogue and digital electronic circuits

• Re-Working/Repair of THT PCB’s to recognized quality standards
• Ability to read and understand circuit diagrams
• Use commercially available test equipment i.e. Digital Voltmeters, Meggers, Oscilloscopes etc.

Ideally you will have:

• Experience working in a test/repair role in a manufacturing industry
• Experience of working on electronic Safety Critical Equipment
• Experience of ATE (automatic test equipment)
