Associate Civil Engineer
We are currently dealing with a leading consultancy searching for an Associate Civil Engineer to lead the Leeds Civils team. The right candidate must hold an array of diverse experience, be self-driven, and must be able to lead and mentor individuals.
In the role, you will be expected to work on a variety of projects assisting teams in the design and development of major highway and infrastructure projects. Having experience of working with regional/national clients would be a great asset to the right individual.
As an Associate in a Senior Management position, you must have the ability to influence development and master-planning of varying projects, and must have knowledge of varying statutory instruments e.g. 1980 Highways Act. Furthermore, you must have experience in working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, as well as producing multi-disciplinary and single fee proposals or projects.
Job Description:
- Experienced team leader and manager
- Experienced project manager
- Knowledge of Highways Act 1980, Water Industry Act 2004, Land Drainage Act, New Roads and Street works Act etc.
- Understanding of budgets, timescales, fee proposals, risk assessments and project management
- Ability to use AutoCAD 2D at a high level
- Understanding of PDS Site Developer/Civils3D
- Understanding of Flow/MicroDrainage, and any Structural Software
