You will have a strong technical background in Rail Civil Engineering, comfortable with ownership and responsibility for projects and people. The role requires an ambitious individual who wants to grow their future career prospects, be ambitious in leading our North-West Rail business, working in synergy with our regional and international offices.
You will be responsible for leading the teams Rail Civil Engineering design delivery associated with an extensive range of rail assets comprising stations, terminals, depots, track, stabling, bridges, signalling, electrification, freight, logistics, telecoms, earthworks, drainage and retaining structures.
Leading with a Safety-First approach you will be an experienced designer in Rail Civil Engineering with the ability to mentor others around you whilst leading by example.
Technically strong, you will be accustomed with designing and checking to Eurocodes and Network Rail standards and be suitably experienced to act as the Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE).
Familiar with delivering in BIM your design experience will encompass the use of engineering design software as well as management reporting.
We pride ourselves on the buildability of our solutions and your understanding of construction methodology and communication with Main Works Contractors will be key.
In leading the North-West Rail business, you will report to the National Rail Civils Director and be mentored and supported in the commercial management of your projects and supported nationally in the management of resources and support disciplines.
