We have a current opportunity for a Design Engineer/Senior Design Engineer on a contract basis.

There are 3 poitions available, and we are looking for either Design/Senior Engineers for this amazing opportunity to work with a Tie1 one Consultancy based in Cardiff.

The role will be Hybrid wokring, You will be at home 4 days a week with the view to being on site in Cardiff once a week.

Some day to day activities will include (will differ dependant on the level of experience e.g Design Engineer to Principle Engineer for example).

• Developing drawings with CAD Technicans
• Attending/hosting design meetings
• Attending/hositng client meetings
• Preforming structual calculations

Some essential skills and experience are as below -

• Rail and Civils background and experince
• London Underground experienxe (LU)
• Transport for London expereixne (TFL)
• Network Rail experience (NR)/Client facing experince

The successful candidates will be subject to a 6 month + Freelance Contract with the view to be extended, depedning on the Projects work. The role sits inside IR35, where the rate is flexible and once again, negotiated by experience and level from 500-600.
