Calibre Search are currently working alongside an independent consultancy in order to find a Civil Infrastructure Engineer to help the team with their current workload. This consultancy has specialised for over 50 years now across Civil and Structural sectors. They are notoriously known for being bias on the Structural side as this is how they started when first starting up, growing presence across the North West. Since they have developed a very well-established civils team.

The current team stands at 25 technical staff, which includes 4 Directors, split across their Manchester and Ramsbotton offices. The Civil Infrastructure team currently stands at 7 staff across both offices. This is broken down by one TD, 2 AD's, 1 principal, technicians and grads. They work across a wide range of schemes, residential, commercial, educational, industrial and have a large presence on hotels, schools, residential units and commercial buildings. One of their main clients with most structural schemes is with Premier Inn directly who use them solely for all aspects of design.

You, as the Senior Civil Engineer will be expected to have proficient experience on the following
*A BEng or similar technical qualification/experience, with relevant knowledge gained in a design office environment. Ideally 3 + years.
*Excellent analysis and technical design skills in AutoCAD, WinDES / Microdrainage and Civils 3D.
Desirables
*Excellent experience in residential estate design
*Experience working with United Utilities and other water authorities
*Experience of Section 104, 278 and 38 highway adoption projects
*Experience of applying highway standards and have a knowledge of drainage and pavement design
*Experience preparing drainage strategies on greenfield and brownfield schemes
*Experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments & Liaising with the LLFA and EA.

You will gain experience and exposure to working on and delivering some of the biggest projects currently in the UK with a lot of their clients being based in the North West, West Midlands and London. Projects more to date include schemes worth over £125 million which need a Project Civil Engineer to oversee the design and delivery from a technical point of view.
