Civils Construction CRE in South Wales, Wales, United Kingdom
A Civils Construction CRE is required to join the Client at their offices in South Wales. Providing technical leadership on the project, you will manage the engineering activity and provide support for design review. As a leader you will take accountability for the technical guidance of all staff and implement a development plan for less experienced engineers. Providing support to the Project Manager and Construction Manager you will be advising on engineering requirements essential to deliver the project plan. As part of your role you will also conduct briefings of technical updates, provide input in bids and promote best practice.
As the Civils Construction CRE you will be educated to a degree level, or equivalent qualification, in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. With previous experience of working in a CRE or acting CRE role in the rail industry, you will have sound knowledge of the operational railway environment. You will have completed the following courses: PTS / IWA and IOSHH Managing Safely.
The client is a large Engineering Consultancy, with offices nationwide. With a portfolio across a number of sectors, including Rail, Highways, Ports and Harbors , MOD and Utilities, they have an exceptional reputation with their client base, and project portfolio. You will be working as part of the Rail division on one of the biggest and exciting projects in South Wales.
