I am currently searching for a Principal or Associate Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join a busy consultancy, searching to strongly develop their Leeds Office with experienced candidates who have a strong background of working with private sector clients.

In the role, you will be playing a key aspect in the success of the branch and you will be supporting the work of the divisional director. You will have the opportunity to develop a client base, as well as support the work of existing clients. You will produce concept designs, as well as single and multidiscipline fee proposals, as well as being responsible for budgeting and financial control during project management duties. You will also be expected to attend design meetings, site visits, and oversee construction during the delivery of projects.

This will be both an internally facing, team leading role, as well as an external, work-winning opportunity too. In line with team leading, you will be expected to mentor and develop junior staff, ensuring continuous professional development. You will also liaise with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders to ensure projects are successfully delivered from initial feasibility studies and concept design, through detailed stages and to construction delivery.

Successful candidates must have experience in producing drainage and highways designs for private developments, such as large-scale residential, and medium scale commercial and industrial schemes.

Job description:
-       Have a relevant degree in Civil Engineering or likewise qualification
-       Be En-Route to Chartership, if not already chartered
-       Have knowledge of relevant highways and statutory acts and legislature
-       Have awareness of S278 and S38 agreements
-       Have knowledge of SUDs
-       Experience manager or technical abilities of Civils3D, MicroDrainage or PDS
-       Understand budgets, resourcing and financial assessments
-       Experience overseeing projects, designs and construction of works
