We are searching for a Senior or Principal Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join a new office in Bristol to help build and develop a growing team. The Bristol office works closely with the London office, and work is spread between the two regions. Reporting to the Director you role will be to head up the new office.

This would be a unique opportunity with clear career prospects for an experienced and well-rounded Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer through to a Principal who is looking for greater independence and responsibility. The successful individual will have a range of software skills, including MIcroDrainage, Civils3D, AutoCAD, as mentoring and expanding the general skills of the team would be key. Furthermore, a range of experience is also preferred, from working on drainage and highways design to S38, S28 and S104 agreements, through to providing FRAs, SuDS, and Pre-Planning advice for commercial, industrial or residential developments.

Responsibilities:

Lead the Bristol team to deliver successful and profitable projects

-          Liaise with the London team to help deliver projects
-          Liaise with clients and external agencies
-          Support the training and development of others
-          Undertake feasibility studies and flood risk assessments
-          Provide complete design packages for submission in accordance with S278, S38, S104 etc

The successful candidate should:
-          Have a Civil Engineering Degree or relevant Engineering qualification
-          Have experience in managing and leading a team
-          Be experienced in representing the company to clients and other stakeholders
-          Have excellent technical ability, AutoCAD and PDS/MicroDrainage minimum, Civils3D as a bonus.
-          Have experience with S278, S38 and S104 applications
-          Be confident in conducting flood risk assessments, feasibility studies and site visits.
